The course was faculty wise well prepared and articulated. The organization and execution was superb and most appreciated. It is relevant to the activities that are taking place in Nigeria in the areas of PPP, concessions, capacity building and financing of projects. In these past two weeks Dr. Behnam Tai reinvigorated the principle of discipline, accurate time keeping and hard work. I can assure that more Nigerians will attend the course.

The International Workshop on Leadership in Rural and Urban Development Management organized by AusHS, was very useful and a good learning experience. It is amazing to see the infrastructure and economic development in Beijing and Shenzhen. China appears to be very strong in town planning and infrastructure development. Hong Kong is a good model of public housing worthy of emulation while adapting to local conditions. In Thailand, Community Organizations Development Institute (CODI) is a comprehensive and multidimensional model to empower urban and rural poor communities. Overall the workshop was very educative, to sensitize urban leaders.

The overall programme was well organized and managed. You were always punctual and respected the delegates that arrived in time. You were interacting with all the delegates by their names and not forgetting one even though we were many. It is my view that you would have covered most of the topics yourself, but instead you brought in different speakers, which is very good as it keeps delegates active. When I go home I will ensure that I apply what I have learnt.

The programme is very useful for developing countries since they can share the international experience and good practices on good governance in public sector. The topics covered and field visits were relevant for motivating public sector officials.
